The 105 minute DVD shows a Nichols boat being built. David Nichols himself explains and demonstrates each step from the building of the frame to the sanding of the hull.

Kit

This kit is for those who do not wish to spend time cutting the wood and sourcing the materials. The method of construction has been slightly changed to make it easier to build from pre-cut panels.

This kit is for constructing a clinker style version of the boat.

The kit is constructed in a slightly different way to the manner described in the DVD; thus to avoid confusion the DVD is not included. Unlike with most of our kits the constructor will want to make layout changes to suit fishing equipment etc. so some minor woodworking skill will be an advantage.
