Product Description
This Japanese trim saw is a smaller keyhole saw with a very fine toothed narrow blade. It can be used as a keyhole saw or for any fine detail trimming.
Originally designed to trim bonsai trees this bonsai saw has a very thin and narrow blade that is perfect for cutting precise curves. For boatbuilding, this saw is handy for cutting hatch openings, trimming cockpits and reaching tight places.
Japanese saws cut on the pull stroke using thin flexible blades that cut faster and more accurately than European push-stroke saws.
This trim saw has a retracting blade, which helps to prevent the thin, delicate blade being accidentally bent in storage.
The blade is 110 mm long (toothed length: 90 mm) and the overall length is 275 mm.
