Ready Built Wooden Boats
Most of our customers choose to build their own boats from one of our comprehensive pre-cut kits, but we also offer ready-built boats constructed to a high standard by our experienced boatbuilders and finished to your specification with high-quality paint and/or varnish.
Most of the boats we offer as kits are available ready built, on request. We will build you a boat from our wide range of wooden kit designs, including canoes, kayaks, rowing boats, sailing boats, motor boats and paddleboards.
We can supply your boat fully finished and outfitted – ready to launch – or you can take the unpainted and unvarnished wooden hull to customise with paint and varnish at home.
Prices vary depending on the boat and the finish, but are usually about four times the price of a kit. We require a deposit of about a third of the total price in advance. Most customers collect their boat from our workshop and the nearby lakes make an excellent location for launch day but, for an additional fee, we can arrange delivery.
We can usually deliver the completed boat to you within a month of ordering but, because we build to order, it can take longer if there is high demand, so if you need a ready built wooden tender for next season it may be as well to order it as soon as possible.

Ranger 15 Canoe

We currently have a ready-built Ranger 15 canoe for sale. We built this canoe to demonstrate strip-planking techniques and our unique finger-jointed bead-and-cove strips. The boat is brand-new and is currently on display in our showroom. Please get in touch to enquire about this canoe.
